Located in Los Angeles Rebel Sidekick Studios is the home to writer and creator Gavin Hignight. Rebel Sidekick’s first project Motor City Volume One was released in March 2008. The 192 page graphic novel was written by Gavin Hignight, illustrated by Jettila Lewis and published by Rebel Sidekick Studios with distribution through Diamond Comics. Two additional full length Motor City Graphic Novels are planned as well as a smaller “sequel” of sorts…

The next project to be released through Rebel Sidekick Studios is THE CONCRETE WORLD. With its first run available exclusively on the internet, this webcomic will move into a completely different direction than Motor City. We are excited to be publishing this completely free and thought provoking series to the web for all to enjoy.
